I love traveling to explore new cities and environments! I'm aiming to visit every national park within my life, although it is hard to tear myself away from repeat visits to Yosemite National Park. Besides hiking and camping, I enjoy visiting botanical gardens, distinct architecture, and inviting public spaces. I've lived in San Diego, the Bay Area, and Boston.

A friend coordinated a couchsurfing night during our road trip up the West Coast. We stopped somewhere in Oregon, and I was amazed at the couple that hosted us - with their three week old newborn! They had a guest book that documented their hundreds of CSers over the years. I was so impressed by that display of community and hospitality.

This is a big category. I like an array of music, most recently Alt-J, Regina Spektor, and Wild Child. I don't watch movies that frequently, but in the past year, I enjoyed Fences and Coco. I try to read a handful of books per year, mostly nonfiction, though am finishing up the Valkyries by Paulo Coelho.
