About Me
Hi - I'm Danielle! I'm from the middle of the woods in Maine (US) and I'm constantly seeking out a new adventure. (Usually with a big smile on my face.) I just graduated with my Masters of Social Work - and I’m taking this post-grad time to travel. I’ve never used Couchsurfing before- but I’m excited to see how it goes!
From the middle of a big hike to the middle of a nightclub dance floor - I try to find ways to have fun in any environment. I am always open and excited to hear about others experiences and the way that those experiences have impacted their day-to-day life. People are cool.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Music, Movies, and Books
I honestly really enjoy most music. I'm a musician myself so it's fun to appreciate different genres. Even in going out settings I like everything from classic rock, to folk, to hardcore EDM or dubstep. Pretty go with the flow!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got caught in a lightning storm at a summit in the Julian Alps .... now thaaat’s a story (ah)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm really excited to get to share anything I know, and learn more about people through my traveling! Schooling taught me a lot about looking into perspective and learning to accept others, which in turn can help oneself. I have a lot of funny questions that I ask that help make getting to know one another more fun - and I also have a lot of fun drinking games if you’re into that sort of thing!! (100% okay if you aren’t, too!)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can promise open-minded and respectful conversation, a thankful demeanor, and hopefully some laughs!
