Overview
About Me
I’m 24 year old English teacher from outside of Los Angeles CA. Born and raised in CA for 18 years then moved to the other side of the US to the state of Maine for college where I lived for 4.5 years. In the summer I split my time half in CA half in Maine. Upon graduating with my bachelors degree I accepted a Fulbright scholarship to come teach English in Galicia, Spain where I currently still live.
I’m a big soccer fan, I played for most of my entire life up until recently (currently searching for a team), I love watching soccer, it’s very integral to my family.
I am first generation Mexican-American raised in an immigrant family. My culture is very important to me and I believe to have the warm latine spirit. I have zero tolerance for racism and xenophobia. I am very passionate about human rights, especially those regarding safe migration. And I believe in a free Palestine.
I have two older sisters (28, 36) so I like to believe I’m very cultured haha, especially when it comes to music. I appreciate learning about new cultures and mindsets through people and like to travel as much as I can even though I come from a low-income background :)
I have severe asthma so I do not smoke and prefer not to be around it but when in Europe you have to adapt so I’m flexible.
