I am Danielle and happy to be part of the CS community. I am a bilingual speaker and writer. Teacher by passion and profession. I have been in the field for over 25 years now and still loving it.
My other passion is singing; for 2 years now I sing jazz, swing, and blues with a Mauritian Band: The Cool Quartet and Mrs D.

I am married to a Latvian, Zigurds or Ziggy (he's also a couch surfer: https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2000235504).
We are both Lovers of Life and Lovers in Life.
We love discovering the world and also meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love people and also all their different life experiences. I believe Couchsurfing is a very interesting and innovative concept to share and make our world a bigger global family. Together with my husband, we decided to get into the philosophy to learn more about people and also different cultures and countries too. We have been both hosting travelers and being hosted in different parts of the world. We feel very lucky to be part of the community: traveling to the world and the world traveling to us.
I would personally love to thank our hosts and guests for those precious and unique life experiences and sharing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A dream job I've been able to contract in the Maldives. Teaching the hotel manager's kids for 7 months on beautiful Maldives with all best conditions!!! This is amazing. Actually there are loads and loads of amazing things I've done...too many to mention...LOL
