About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see all there is to see. Finding out that SoCal is not the place for me, going on epic cross country road trip this summer with my wonderful boyfriend Edher and our chi chi Roonie! And then moving North!
ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Danielle. Traveling is my passion and my goal in life is to never be bored.
PHILOSOPHY
I live with the thought that everyone should be equal and see the world with their own eyes. We are told too much what to believe by others when we only really see whats there when we look for ourselves.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have both hosted and been hosted abroad. Hope to do so more!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Absolutely wonderful. Except for the odd negative experience I think couchsurfing is one of the greatest resources we have for traveling. When traveling before couchsurfing I would say oh I wish I had a friend here to show me how things really are, now its like I have a friend everywhere I go! Miles better than being stuck in a hotel feeling like a tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books
All music, music is practically life.
To name a few favorites: 70s classics like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Fleet Foxes, John Mayer, Daft Punk, the Shins, and of course the Beatles are the absolute top.
Movies: anything that makes you think, British comedies, 60s classics, and the odd chick-flick such as Love Actually, Bridget Jones, and Titanic... :) I'm not ashamed!
Books: On the Road-Kerouac, Catcher in the Rye-Sadlinger, Coming Up for Air-Orwell, All Quiet on the Western Front- Remarque. I prefer "the classics", they had to be good to get classic right? Also Harry Potter, my younger self would cringe if I didn't say he was a big part of my growing up
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing the Eiffel Tower light up for the first time at night when my uncle took me to Europe when I was 15. I will always remember how on that trip I got the wanderlust bug for good, and I will always be thankful to him for taking me to paces I always dreamt about.
Climbing the big mountain in Hawaii and being able to look out over the entire city of Honolulu with the ocean framing it. Perfect.
Taking my little sister on her first trip to Europe. Every first step off a plane, train, or boat to arrive at a new destination and looking around at where we had gotten ourselves on our own was the best feeling.
