ABOUT ME

My husband and I, both teachers, are currently traveling around the world. We've had many incredible experiences, and all of them have been enriched by the people we've met along the way.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the time being, we hope to find some kind hosts that wouldn't mind putting us up (and putting up with us!) for a night or two during our upcoming stays in Australia and New Zealand.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We're very new to couch surfing, and first heard about it through fellow travelers when we were in Turkey a few months ago. We checked it out, and did our first (and, so far, only) stay in Cairo, Egypt. Our host was so friendly and helpful, we knew we had made the right decision to try it out. We plan to try it again when we visit Australia and New Zealand, if anyone will have us.

Interesses

Exploring nature, scuba diving, surfing (we only just learned how), hiking, visiting historical or religious monuments, specially UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and learning more about the cultures we're visiting. I also love to write and recently published my first novel about a tormented angel that fights against his destiny to destroy the world and systematically wipe out any survivors. I'm trying to work on the sequel as I travel, but I've been too distracted!

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Scuba diving with a whale shark. Seeing a tiger in Bandhavgarh National Park in India. Scuba diving while a 'train' of at least 50 manta rays glided over and past us. Bicycling through a veritable field of temples in Bagan, Myanmar.
