Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
Saving money for Europe - Spring 2016
Planning on going to the Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Germany, Warsaw, Paris, Italy, Spain, Portugal...
ABOUT ME
I'm very outgoing so I make new friends everywhere I go, whether to the grocery store or across the country.
I love the smell of rain and lavender and old books, thunderstorms, camping, being barefoot, swimming, hitchhiking, travel, Anarchism, feminism, reading, children, people and other animals especially reptiles.
I enjoy cooking and eating vegan food, drinking good beer and sweet wine.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
To meet people and learn about new cultures and ways of thinking.
I'd rather meet the locals and see how they live than stay in a hotel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have yet to officially host anybody through CS (I don't think Wisconsin is that popular of a Couchsurfing destination) but I have certainly had plenty of people crash on my couch over the years.
I've been hosted through CS in Portland, OR. and it was wonderful. Great people, great city!

Musik, Filme und Bücher
Books: Jeremy Robert Johnson, James Morrow, Mathew Revert, Anne Rice, a Song of Ice and Fire, and a lot of non-fiction... Too much to list really.
Movies: Rocky Horror Picture Show, Natural Born Killers, Benny and Joon, Quentin Tarantino, John Waters... Too many to list.
Music: The Beatles, Tool, (old) Anti-Flag, (old) Green Day, Bikini Kill & El Creepo.
There is a lot of other music I enjoy, but those are my favorites.
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
Spent 4 months hitch-hiking around the Western U.S.
Last summer I took my 13 year old nephew on a 2 week road trip to Yellowstone and some other national parks. That was the best trip I've ever been on :)
I was lucky enough to get to visit Germany when I was 17 and see where my mother was born and meet a lot of my family. Looking forward to going back this Spring!
Lehren, lernen, teilen
I love learning about most anything!
If we can get the ingredients I can teach you to make vegan spanakopita.
I can teach you how to make jewelry, but you have to come here for that, I won't have my supplies while travelling.
Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann
My awesome cooking, my outgoing nature and friendly smile, tips on hitchhiking in the Western U.S.
I make jewelry and cards so I can bring you something that I made!
