Music, Movies, and Books

All music! Specifically good quality Jazz, folk, indie etc. Philosophy is always interesting to read, as well as books based on people's lives. Most recently finished Frankenstein, which was quite heavy but a good book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked on a commercial fishing vessel in the Pacific Ocean one summer, and had the opportunity to watch the sunrise on an Island off the coast of Haida Gwaii, which is full of overgrown forests , completely uninhabited by people. Witnessing the intense beauty of the cycles of earth happen regardless of human presence was humbling and awe inspiring.

While working on an organic dairy farm, I watched a storm roll in across the field. I was tending to the chickens in the intense sunshine as I watched the wind and rain tear up the field next to me. It was an insane and adrenaline filled experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Wellbeing comes from balance. Between challenge and comfort, big and small, too much and too little. To find the equilibrium is a never ending journey, which makes life so exciting! There is such a thing as too much, except in terms of learning. This is possible because of the nature of knowledge. The more you learn, the more you realize you have to learn. How beautiful is that balance! I would love to share conversations, and have some musical/agricultural knowledge. I desire to learn a little about everything!
