My name is Danielle and I love cats! I'm live in my hometown of Kelowna BC, though I travel for work a lot I try to host when I can! My boyfriend and I are adventurers and we love to see new places and explore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed all over Europe and I hosted as much as I could in Kelowna, I was unable to host when I lived in Ireland because I had a host family but I surfed a bit there. I have tons of space now that I'm home in Kelowna and I plan to make a ton of new friends this summer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been surfing an hosting for a while now, and it's a truly life changing experience. The people I've met and friends I have made are amazing, and I can't imagine my life without the travels I've had through CS.

Interests

I love travelling and making friends! I love cooking and eating; I'm always excited to try new foods from around the world. I like books and reading, sometimes writing as well. I am adventurous and like exploring, I like being outside around nature. I'm active and I like sports; I used to play a ton of rugby but I haven't been as active in sports since high school. I like movies and theatre as well. I'm always ready to have a good time! I don’t drink much anymore but I still enjoy a craft beer or glass of wine from time to time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music, rock, punk, metal, indie, country, blues, pretty much anything except rap.

I love to read, though it’s tough to find time when life is so busy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I had to pick just ONE thing I've done, I'd have to say living - because that in itself is quite amazing when you think about it. Breathing, seeing, just BEING is a fantastic feat that we take for granted. But for the sake of the question, one thing that changed my life could be summed up by travel.

Broad as the answer may be, backpacking across Europe was the most amazing thing I ever did. It would take far to long to type here, so just come stay with me or host me and I'll tell you about it!
