About Me

ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Danielle but everyone calls me Dagger. I am a retired rugby player, an artist, an extrovert and a comedian. I enjoy

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My boyfriend and I are traveling to Europe this May to celebrate his graduation from Mines University. We are happy to stay in Hostels and Camp but are equally looking to make new friends and see the world from a local point of view. I know it can be a challenge to travel affordably and that's why I've hosted visitors in the past.

Interests

You name it, I want to try it. I love being active, social and outgoing. I love games and just about any physical sport. Meeting new people and having positive social interactions is really the heart of traveling. I am equally content to read a book for hours.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy artists like the Black Keys, Ratatat, Dreadnaughts, Lindsey Stirling etc Rock and some New Age Classical

I'm reading Mongol Queens at the moment but just reread Enders Game because it's amazing. The Three Body Problem before that. My boyfriend and I are reading Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman.

We don't watch movies so much as shows on Netflix to kill time. Black Books, Peep Show, Bob's Burgers...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow, set the bar high...Amazing, let's see. I rescued an entire village from a nuclear bomb. Wait. no. I just saw that on T.V.

I guess I'm pretty proud of my artwork and building skills. I turned a 4 person bicycle into a Steampunk Chitty Chitty Bang Bang parade vehicle.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach slang, and profanities in at least 5 languages.

I will happily share my artwork and leave a drawing for you if you're interested.
