ABOUT ME

Hi! I am 33 yrs old and getting ready to drive cross country looking for adventure and potentially (eventually) a job. I am a casino dealer by trade, spent 6 years dealing in Indiana, then moved to Florida to see what it was like. Florida has been nice but I'm ready to explore other parts of the country. My primary traveling objective is Las Vegas, though I'm not overly particular about how or when I get there. Although if the timing works out it would be exciting to play in some World Series of Poker qualifiers and try to get into the main event. I'm laid back, friendly, open-minded and excited to meet new people, have new experiences and generallly live life to its fullest! I love the idea of exploring the country and new cities with the assistance of locals - no one knows the secrets of a place better than a native.

PHILOSOPHY

The most important thing in life, to me, is to be as happy as possible on a day to day basis. I believe we have one shot at this living thing, and if we aren't enjoying it, we're wasting it.

Music: Varied and diverse - I love music but I'm not a hardcore audiofile like some of my friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really wasn't sure what to put here and then it occurred to me... This. I just quit my insurance claims job, for the 2nd time in the last 10 years. I am going to get back into what I love doing - dealing craps or poker. But first, I am going to drive across the country and see what's out there. I'm excited, a little nervous, and (most importantly) incredibly happy. I really hope that my lack of experience doing the couchsurfing thing doesn't hold me back from meeting some incredible people and enjoying amazing moments along the way. I want to thank each of you who I do meet for helping make this the most amazing thing I've ever done.

I can teach you anything you want to know about casino gaming - craps, black jack, roulette, poker - just don't ask me about slot machines!

I am queer (I find it increasingly hard to label myself as I get older, but I'm fond of the term queer as it embodies anything and everything outside of the standard norm) and love the opportunity to discuss sexuality, sexual orientation, gender identity and more with curious people. Education is the key to tolerance!
