I enjoy myself in life.

Happily in a relationship.

In my studies, I am focussing on foreign policy toward Africa and I aim to learn as much on that end of the spectrum as possible. I like to meet local people when I travel and learn what their lives are like. I want my travels to be purposeful, but fun!

I want to live to be happy. I want to make change. I think that learning about others and becoming less Eurocentric can change people's lives for the better, including one's own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I lived in a living community over the summer last year that hosted several surfers. Since then, I've hosted some myself, and also surfed my way around Europe, a bit. I hope to sleep on couches abroad and then return the favor when I'm in Chicago.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like to host folks when I can, and i like to sleep on couches, in corners, on countertops, or wherever, when I'm abroad. I find it quite an enjoyable and simple way to get to know people from other parts of the world.

Interests

I am interested in many things. I guess in a broad sense I am interested in the way the world works. It's so complex and always keeps me emotional, whether it's happy, sad, excited, disappointed, or confused. I want to learn how my preconceived notions fit in and I hope that they are all blown away.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like to think I've seen and done lots of neat things. I've been lucky enough to have a lot of great experiences. I suppose I can list a few. I've bungee jumped, driven across the US more than a couple times, witnessed a revolution, back packed through Europe, and many other things. My life has been and will continue to be lots of fun!
