About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy the F*** out of life. See new places, meet new people, have thoughtful conversation. Eat great food, drink great coffee.
ABOUT ME
I am a very outgoing adventurous person. I think you should try (just about) everything at least once. I'm not going to say I like traveling, because that is pretty obvious when you are both on couch surfing and are on a year long adventure.
I will say the other couch surfing profile cliche however ("I like meeting new people"), because I absolutely love the people you meet on the road. The chance encounters and the relationships you form are what make each country special and the friends you meet along the way have turned out to be some of my best friends even years after.
I am a yoga teacher and an endermologist (happy to explain that one over dinner). Yoga has helped me overcome so many of my own injuries that I love sharing it with other people, even if its just a few stretches that help their perpetual aching neck. I also like to cook, so if you stay with me or if I am lucky enough to be your guest, I am happy to make you dinner while (likely) leading some stretches.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only had really great couch surfing experiences. I've met some amazing people through hosting, and all of my hosts were extremely helpful, giving me insights into the place I was visiting and making me apart of their lives, introducing me to their friends, etc, if only for a brief period.
More than an affordable place to stay, I love the community. I love the idea of being as kind and generous to strangers as we were back in the day and some countries/cultures still are.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things iv'e seen are the salt flats in Bolivia. I spent four days traveling in an ancient jeep from the desert in northern Chile to Boivia. The wilderness there is incredible; each day we covered a different terrain. From the driest desert in the world with smoking volcanoes, to boulder fields, to snow ice covered lakes with flamingos boardered by snow dusted mountains. The trip culminated in the salt flats, freezing expanses of white salt and blue sky as far as the eye can see. There you forget about the every day hustle of civilization and man made goals, and just feel awe for the world we live in.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a San Francisco native, so I always love sharing my city with new people. I've been on a couple backpacking trips so I love sharing any info I've gleaned related to traveling on a budget or volunteering. I would love to cook and share a meal and great conversation. I was also a competitive swimmer and coach and love helping anyone who want to learn a stroke, or if you're up fore some yoga I'm always in!
As far as what I would like to learn, just about everything. Right now I'd especially like to improve my spanish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my love for food and cook for you, or help you with anything related to chronic stiffness and soreness. Or if you would like a private yoga class designed for your needs I am happy to share.
