I'm thrifty but I also find that staying with locals provides so much more insight into a culture than what a tourist sees in a hotel or hostel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One big travel highlight: kayaking out on the bay in Hawaii and a pod of dolphins surrounded us! I hopped out and swam among them, absolutely unreal!
