Hello! I hope you've had a great day so far.

I'm a research assistant at the Netherlands Institute of Neuroscience in the Denys/Willuhn lab working on a deep brain stimulation project, and falling more and more in love with science each day.

I also wake up every day and attempt to be the best person I can be. I'll do so by learning as much as I can, experiencing as much as possible, and finding love for everyone I come across. I cherish adventure and a challenge, and will never turn down the opportunity to explore.

I love to cook, to learn, to laugh. I'm a fitness nut and am always on a quest for more adventure. If you like music, dark beer, good books or have a passion for anything, we'll get along just fine :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to visit as many places as possible, and hope to get the authentic feel of whatever town I may be in. I want to hear your stories and see what your favorite parts of town are :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: anything classic rock, alternative, rap or reggae. I also enjoy folk, classical, Spanish guitar, and regaton.

Books: Oh man, this is a hard question. I've built my bookshelf out of other books I've read. As a quick list, I love The Thornbirds, Crime and Punishment, Infinite Jest, The Crying of Lot 49, Alias Grace, The Road, Pow!, Prey, American Psycho, Jane Eyre, and so so many more. I'm reading Hitch-22 now, and the writing absolutely reflects the author's genius.
