About Me

I grew up in Massachusetts right next to the Merrimack River, went to school in the beautiful Swannanoa valley surrounded by the mountains, my junior year of college I traveled all over Tanzania, India, New Zealand, and Mexico for a full year, and after graduating I served two years with AmeriCorps doing affordable housing work. Currently living in Philly and pursuing massage therapy! I love riding bikes (I am on a female road race team), hiking/camping/adventuring, rock climbing, anything outside!, playing games ( we have game nights pretty often!), drinking wine and watching cat videos, having real talks but also just drinking a beer in a kiddie pool, ya know?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel all over the globe, meeting interesting people who love where they live and want to share it with world.

I've stayed with over a dozen host families through my world travels, and hosted a few times, but never through the official couchsurfing website.

***I have a week off!!!! I wanna explore! And also get away from the Philly winter. I've never been to the Everglades or Miami area so I'm super psyched to explore, and adventures are always better with the locals who know it best. I am looking to hang out and meet new people, but also do my own thing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: just finished Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep , and currently reading Fahrenheit 451. I am organizing a book group (I was inspired by the craziness of Fahrenheit...). Reading is amazing and I want to do more of it, and get into intense discussions with other humans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I do an annual 4-day 250 mile bike tour across PA called Ride for Homes, which benefits Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia. This will be my third year!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Guatemala, India, Israel, Jamaica, Mexico, New Zealand, Tanzania, United States
