To connect with others around the world to have fun and live life to the fullest. I enjoy living outside the constraints of modern society, and prefer to forge my own path. When I am following my joy, I am in the flow and my presence creates peace and joy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to get into the heart and soul of the communities that I visit. I know that each community I visit has something to offer me, and I have something to give back. By staying with local folks I am able to carry out my mission of joyful service through connection.

I have relocated to Nashville and have fallen in love with the city! I enjoy showing folks the real Nashville, which is way more than country music.

Interests

I have found myself on the Shambhala Buddhist path and am an advocate of social meditation. It's amazing to finally have the tools to help me to awaken to my basic goodness and to open my heart. I love to connect with my fellow humans on a deeper level, and get to know each other. I also enjoy singing, songwriting, reading, traveling the world, hiking, paddleboarding, swimming, camping, eating great locally grown food, farming, organic gardening, talking about how we can expand consciousness, love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've finally given myself permission to fully follow my heart. In January I left Vermont after 25 years to travel the world. My travels first brought me to Miami, where I spent time resting, reflecting and swimming in the ocean.

Then the Universe intervened and sent me to Nashville, not once, but 3 times in 2015. I took the hint and decided to settle in East Nashville.

I am a student always, of life, love and the pursuit of joy. I have rejected our current cultural version of 'reality' since I was a teen, and am constantly expanding my definiton of freedom. I am an avid student of men, women, love, sex, money and relationships and love to discuss all of the above. Let's chat about living on the cutting edge.
