About Me

I'm a 28 y/o social worker from Tasmania, Australia. I'm very kind and respectful. I think I'm both introverted and extroverted, depends on the situation. I love to chat and get to know people! But I'm also very easy going and am happy doing my own thing. I think I'm fun to be around and I'm always keen to go out and do things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm really interested to get a different experience out of travelling. I like hostels but I'd love to be able to get to know local people who live in the areas I want to visit!

Interests

I play football ⚽️ back home, I love music and dancing (I was a zumba fitness instructor for a few years), I love being outside, going for walks, going to the beach, but I also enjoy staying in with a good wine and a good movie/book!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a huge range of music, anything that I can either dance to, sing along with or relax to! I particularly love Latin music, rnb/soul, indie, classic 80s/90s pop and rock!
Movies - I generally go for a comedy, maybe because life can be stressful and it's a good break - but I also like dramas and suspense, also a good cry to a soppy movie can be a great thing!
Books - I love books that you can't put down, with great characters and plots that you get immersed in! Always love getting a good book recommendation too! One of my favs is Stephen King 'thinner'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to the last two football world cups - South Africa and then Brasil, and now I don't want to stop! Hopefully I can make it to Russia!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm really interested in learning other languages, I've studied both Spanish and French. I'm not fantastic but I'm always keen to learn more including other languages if I got the chance!
I love food and although I'm not overly skilled in the kitchen I have a few tasty dishes I can make. I also love getting into the kitchen with other people and cooking together! I don't need to be looked after so I'm always keen to help cook, clean etc.
I love having good conversations and learning about different cultures, politics etc. I'm a curious person but I'm observant and respectful and I don't think I would ever offend anyone!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I can share good conversation, fun and friendship. And a great Spag Bol :)
