ABOUT ME

I'm back to living in the Bay Area after 4 years of living abroad in Chile and the Philippines teaching and volunteering. I work for a small non profit in San Francisco with at risk youth providing after school programming. I live pretty far outside the city though and when friends come to visit, particularly ones from out of the country, I want to show them SF and the East Bay with out stranding them in my small home town while I'm at work,. I like to cook and bake and would love to share some food with you! I'm interested in travel stories, languages, and getting to know this area better. Even though I grew up here I still feel like there's so much more to explore.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to travel as much as possible and meet as many people in a natural and relaxed environment where I can make friends and grow my community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couched surfed through out Chile and was amazed at how accommodating and open my hosts were. Every single one of them went out of their way to show me their home and town. I have always felt the best way to explore anywhere is with the guidance of a local and couchsurfing is the absolute best way to find those locals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I summit-ed a mountain once. I hated it. Every last minute of it and will never do it again, but I do have a great story to share so I guess its not all a loss. haha
