I am a 23 - year old who absolutely adores this big blue marble we all live on! My husband is 25 and together we travel the world and are always searching for the next incredible adventure. I am very enthusiastic and optimistic and I think this presents itself more when I meet fellow travellers, something about learning all about another persons culture or personal experience is so inspiring to me!

This being said, while I am full of enthusiasm I am also very laid back! It takes a lot to really rattle me and the fact I am always 'looking on the bright side' makes me a positive and fun person to be around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

AS A HOST

We haven't hosted our first couch surfer however are hoping to do so in the near future. We will only accept friendly, down to earth people - no anti-social people or people who are only looking for free accommodation. I am more than happy to cook a meal if you help clean and would love to show you all the cool little parts of our city!

AS A COUCHSURFER

We are currently saving for our next big long term trip and will be looking to utilize couch surfing as a way of getting to know the destinations we visit from a locals perspective! It's also an awesome way to meet new people - strangers are only friends we haven't met yet, right?

I pole dance for fitness and this is a passion of mine! I also am a huge animal lover and foster animals, currently cats but we have also fostered dogs. I love to travel and I love hearing about different places I the world, so feel free to talk my ears off I am completely okay with that!

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't like questions like this that are so definitive. But for those who like these questions, below are my best attempts at answering this question!

MUSIC: Dubstep, electronic, rap, punk rock - anything that has a good beat or a cool sound to it! I am a dancer, so I listen to a lot of different kinds of music!

MOVIES: This one changes every week... genres of movies though would probably be Drama, Thriller or Comedy.

BOOKS: Harry Potter has a very special place in my heart, I love anything Jodi Picoult or Bryce Courtney. I read a lot of books, so long as it is well written and speaks to me, it usually hits somewhere on my favourite list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a glacier in Canada my husband and I toasted cinnamon whisky on the rocks using glacier ice. That was a special moment. I add to that the first time we slept in an overnight sleeper in China or the first time in a Tuk Tuk in Thailand - all awesome experiences.
