ABOUT ME

I am 29 years old and eager to explore the world and all the people in it. I love being outdoors and pretty much any new experience. I like strange foods and real conversations. Dark beer, red wine, and hot sauce make me happy. I also love to learn about anything and everything from cooking to social practices, and history.

PHILOSOPHY

In general I'd rather invest in an experience than a material item. I think family and real friends are sacred. My life goal is to live in a way that makes me happy and that betters the lives of others. That's why I have studied psychology and public health.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I lived in New Orleans for about a year and a half where I attended couch surfing meet ups. I meet some really amazing people from all around the world and finally decided to go do some traveling myself. As a traveler I went to meet ups in Seattle and Portland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couched surfed in Canada before moving to Zambia

Lived in mud hut without running water or electricity for one year.

I know a little about a lot of things including; building a fire, applying for a job/education, creating/sustaining community health, child maltreatment prevention, maintaining mental health and addiction recovery, making things happen that seem impossible
