Currently looking to Couchsurf in New Orleans from May 5 to May 7 (two nights) alongside my boyfriend. I'm in my late-twenties, taking a break before continuing school. He's in his early thirties and hasn't been outside of California. We're looking to do some light traveling before we kick back into full gear with work! Hearty conversations are nice. The last time (and only time) I had gone Couchsurfing was in New Orleans back in 2013 and I LOVED the hospitality that was provided by my hosts. It was great having hosts that genuinely cared about travelers having a stellar experience. One host made breakfast, another host gave me a tour of the city by car, and another host showed me around the local bars/lounges. It's a great way to have a personal experience with someone who wants to pass on the joys of the city! Makes traveling very homey!

One amazing thing I've done (RECENTLY) is get back into jogging for one hour straight. It's taken me a long time to recover from injuring my knee in martial arts.

I'm fascinated with the connections between mental health and spirituality. I'm in the process of creating a blog site where I will be discussing my theories and research findings towards a hopeful direction in personal development.

Aside from that, I'm also getting back into fitness training, and I'm working towards obtaining my kinesiology degree.

What can I share with hosts? Great laughs! Tea/coffee/wine and STORIES! I like getting to know what another person's life is like, and I like sharing some of my stories too.

If you're into exercising, I can give an extra push to go jogging outdoors. I also have a gym membership (Planet Fitness) that allows me to bring in a guest-- if you want to do some training with me. I'll be doing some sort of workout every day while I'm out there. Please feel free to join! I enjoy helping people find motivation!
