ABOUT ME

I'm a New Zealander living in Spain. When I travel and arrive in a new place, I get quietly excited. It gives me itchy feet to explore, observe and experience the culture as a local might. I would say my basic necessities are people, music and food, especially food that isn't expensive, but has been cooked with love by a human! There are many adventures to be had at the dinner table with new and old friends and music usually fits well into most of these occasions as well as my daily life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel, meet people, share experiences and exchange individual and cultural perspectives. Ultimately to learn from each other while having fun doing it!!

Movies: Too many great films to select my favourites, but here is a handful of movies I would recommend seeing - Picnic at Hanging Rock (Australia), What We Do in the Shadows (New Zealand), Back To The Future (USA), Drifting Clouds (Finland), Cría Cuervos (Spain) ........

Music: Almost everything good from 80's pop music to experimental music. Really love to hear music from other countries when I visit a new place.

Books: Sputnik Sweetheart, 100 Years Of Solitude, Shame, The Master and The Margarita, The Old Man and The Sea, The Bridge on the Drina ........
