About Me
I put God first and love my family. Most people say I am crazy, some say I am brave. But, most of them say that they admire me for my courage to discover the world. I have been working for six years as a seafarer in cruise ships, always moving here and there. Being a seafarer is a very hard work to do but at the same time you get a great life experience. You wake up in Germany and sleep in France. It is a wonderful and crazy experience at the same time. You meet people from all over the world.
Left my home 10 years ago with ONLY a backpack and few money. At that time I had in mind just to take a few days to relax and, since then, I am still on the road. From there everything has changed. As a backpacker I have faced a lot of situations that made me grew up stronger. Have few clothes since I embarked on this journey and realized we need few things to live and these few things are more than enough. Material things will stay here and we wont take them with us but our lives experiences lasts forever.
So far, for sure, EVERYTHING has been ALL WORTH during my journey. Love getting to know new people and new places, the way they live and stuff. Also I am a language lover. I love listening to all kind of diferent languages. That is because I have learnt English just listening to music and it amazes me the fact that once you learn a new language that many opportunities opens up for you.
I am an adventurous and easy going person who likes the new experiences in life. Live my life in the most simple way as I can. I left my home very early to discover the world and untill this day I am doing it. I think life is all about it. You have to dream but also you have to go for it. Do not just sit and wait for things to happen.
I have worked as so many things in my life. For me I do not care what I do as long as it makes me happy. Worked six years in a row in an office. It was a very easy and comfortable work to do but, at the same time, I was stuck in one place only planning to travel, only dreaming to what country I wanted to go but, from the moment I made a move, took my backpack and hit the road, things changed and I really started doing what I wanted to do. I don't care if I have to sweep a floor or wash a dish. As long as God is on my side, I am fine, alive and doing what I want, it is okay for me. All kind of work is dignified! Life is not a bed of roses and most of the times you have to take risks, otherwise you will just keep wondering what would have happened. And that is what I have always done so far. I have always risked! Because if it's not like this, then, you will never know!
There is this song I like that defines exactly the way I am. It says....
"there is always gonna be another mountain. I am always gonna wanna make it move. Always gonna be an up hill battle. Sometimes I am gonna have to lose. It aint about how fast I get there. It aint about what is waiting on the other side. It is THE CLIMB!"
