About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be lost - wherever, whenever and with whomever.

ABOUT ME

I'll sleep when I'm dead.

PHILOSOPHY

Stolen from Mark Twain - Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the tradewinds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch little TV so my movie and sitcom interests are limited. My movie collection consists of a few staples such as Clerks and Butterfly Effect. I listen to just about anything (but have a special place in my heart for 80s metal and strings orchestras) and read a lot of non-fiction and history. If you're really interested, visit and you can puruse the music and book libraries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've walked on water. (Funny though, it didn't last more than a split second.)

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to teach but my areas of (self-proclaimed) expertise are limited to venture capital, beer, Pugs and competitive shooting. However, if you're intersted, I love to discuss and practice subjects I'm far less qualified to teach like economics, dancing, politics, drinking, flying and education policy. I'm always intersted in foreign politics and economic/education policies - yes, that's the geek in me. I want to learn Chinese and I want to learn how to Tango.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hmmm. If traveling in the US, we're bound to be hauling beer and we always share. If we're outside the US, we can definitely cook and we love conversation. We're pretty laid back, but bound to offer some fun surprises.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, Cayman Islands, Czech Republic, Greece, Guatemala, Indonesia, Jamaica, Malaysia, Mexico, Russian Federation, Singapore, Switzerland, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In
