Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The main reason is because i like the alternative way of traveling and meeting people that CS offers, compared with the more touristic and consumeristic way of doing that. There are so many interesting people around the world from whom I can learn something, and CS works as a bridge to reach them.

Interests

These are some of the activities that i really enjoy:

definitely meeting new people, also photographing, cooking, travelling (specially by bike, which i use it all the time to go everywhere), flying kites, hiking and swimming. Also like books, TV shows and movies, coffee or beer with friends.

Hobbies: read about different countries, hear and tell tales from different cultures, sunset and sunrise watching, and folk music

Music, Movies, and Books

I like every kind of music, with the exception of regaetton. Pink Floyd, Manu Chao, Queen and Rock en tu idioma (Latinamerican Rock) are among my favourites.

I like almost any kind of literature, mainly historical novel, but White Nights (Dostoyevski) and 100 years of Solitude (Garcia Marquez) are probably my best. Also I read all the books of Game of Thrones, and definitely suggest to read them and to avoid the TV series, they are not comparable with the books.

I could not remember if one of my favorites movies is Memento, because I have a very bad memory.

Some time ago i built a greenhouse on my roof, and grew hydroponic vegetables. If interested, i can give some hints, info and even can help to start up with something.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Now im living with my girlfriend and her kid, and it's not possible for me to offer a couch to crash in. Some coffee, bar hoping and small trips (on weekends). Also I have a second bike which can be used, it's easier and faster to move by bike in Helsinki area (not during winter). Also we can make some kind of fusion cuisine, mixing everyone's ideas and ingredients and see what happen.
