About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Mix some spice into my regular day-by-day life.
ABOUT ME
Chatter box. I guess this is what describes me better with few words. If I happened to find myself in a strange place with none known, in about 10 min I'd be in a very interesting conversation with anybody, just anybody. Talking, to me, is as necessary as air.
Other than that, I am a cuisine lover. Love to cook, love to eat, love to eat. That ranges from fine Italian wine and cheese to any good-smelling stuff sold on the streets. I really am willing to try mostly anything.
I can also say I am very flexible. I can adapt to situations very quickly.
I love to travel, but I don't like to stay in hotels. First of all, they're expensive. I'd rather spend the money shopping for local stuff, eating, drinking or on buses and trains. Besides, in hotels, you arrive and leave and don't get to know anybody. I like to meet people, talk, know other cultures and realities. This is why I always stay in hostels and why I was really excited about this site.
I also love to travel with my wife. Mostly we travel around Brazil, but we've already been to Italy, France, Argentina, Chile and USA together and it was wonderful!
Ok... I have to say something bad about myself, right? I guess it would be the fact that, eventually, you'd need to tell me "please, can you stay silent for a second?".

PHILOSOPHY
If you can't help it, enjoy it.
I can't say I am a really relaxed guy. I look forward having a good economic life, got married, bought my own place... I guess I could be called a typical "bourgeois".
But other than that, apart from the stress from daily life, I want to relax. But not necessarily relax my body, but rather my mind. To me, the best way to do so is to scape the normal landscape. Is to meet new people, see how they live, and for a little while, live like they do a little bit too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Lately, for lack of time, just advertising it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
--> Took part in many CS meetings in Milano, Italy, thruout June 2007.
--> Hosted by Andrea and Sabien - Genova, Italy - June 28 to June 30, 2007
--> Had a sightseing around Brasilia with Itamar Matos - July 31, 2009
Outside CS, in Japan, I lived for one whole year with a Japanese family (which today I have as my own). The great thing about it is that I got to know how people really live daily, what they do, watch, eat, talk... you can never live that in a normal travel.
