CURRENT MISSION
To invent something BIG in the field of chemistry and give a TED talk!
ABOUT ME
Hey everyone, hallo Leute!
I'm from Chattanooga, I'm 19, and I love where my life is right now! I study Chemistry and Deutsch at the University of the South (Sewanee) and I am going to California soon for a seminar about economics! I am looking for some people in the area of LA/Orange/Irvine to stay with before and after the Seminar. I will be in the area from June 15 to July 3.
I love languages!!! Especially German! I really enjoy getting to know people from all around the world and speaking with them about their travels and lives. International people are simply awesome! I currently speak English, German, and I have been trying to, when I have time, teach Russian to myself. So far, it's going okay, I think I know like 50 words :P. I also love the sciences, with chemistry being my other love :D. I have traveled around the world as well. During the summer of my freshman year I got a scholarship to go to Berlin to study at DiD (Deutsch in Deutschland) for two months and basically became fluent in German after a year, I had to work hard though and I enjoyed it the whole time :). I also went to Poland (some city, can't remember), Prauge, Budapest, Hamburg, and Wittenburg while I was studying in Berlin.
PHILOSOPHY
Well, after this last semester, I have realized what living life is all about. It's about putting in hard work everyday and not worrying about the future. One can be concerned about the future, that is only rational, but to be worried about anything is simply useless. It is better to, when a problem or issue arises, to think about it logically and positively. As we may have noticed, 90% of our fears our from our mind, and that same 90% never occurs. So why worry so much? It leads to nothing.
What I also believe in, and I mean this truly, is that if you are going for something, go all out! I keep saying to myself that I want to live a life of "can't stop, won't stop" and that I always have the choice to "make moves or make excuses"! Each day is a series of decisions, and we can decide how our day goes, just by deciding how we react to what is thrown at us. Will we let it control us, or will we control and use each experience to our benefit to better ourselves every single day? The choice is always ours.
One more thing, the more you keep on pushing towards your goals and dreams, the more the world will get out of your way so that YOU CAN!

Teach, Learn, Share
Chemistry, languages, science, I'm a pretty practical guy, I understand people, I can rap and freestyle a little (not sure if that's important xD), I would love to learn more about areas I'm weak in, like cooking, history, and art.
