Overview
About Me
Been living in Portland for two years now, been a very formative time for me. Currently working on gaining more tree work and carpentry skills, hoping to start doing small projects on my own to support myself without having a job. Eventually want to get into independent journalism.
I've been very religious and I've been agnostic. I've been in the military and I've been a stoner. I've worked in the oil fields and I've worked on political campaigns. I've had things together and had a solid picture of my future, and I've had times where I've woken up not even knowing who I am. I've had times of very motivated and productive work, and there's times when I don't know what's real. I've had times when my dreams were coming true and I've had times where I felt like an outcast from the human race.
Life is really big and I don't think it's possible to understand it. The one thing I believe in is the human spirit. I love to see it in all its wonderful contradictions and variations and to see how each one of us has the chance to forge a life of meaning and purpose out of the dreams we have in the place we find ourselves.

Teach, Learn, Share
I might be able to share some knowledge of running I've picked up over the years, and I'd definitely love to learn from you as well!
Growing up in central AZ I spent the majority of my time outdoors between river running, hunting, hiking, camping, and lots of fishing.
