Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Daniel, a 36-year-old Brazilian architect, passionate about exploring the world and hiking. I love living new experiences and I'm currently in a transition phase, embarking on a travel adventure. Besides playing the violin, a bit of guitar, and singing, I also enjoy dancing salsa and samba. I'm always looking to learn and have authentic exchanges with people from different cultures. I'm new in Couch surf, never use, will be my first time. But u can see my social mídias. @danielsckenckel Instagram/LinkedIn/Tiktok
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe the best way to know a place is through its locals. I plan to travel across Asia and other destinations, and I'm excited to share experiences with my hosts and learn from them. For me, Couchsurfing is a platform that facilitates genuine connections and creates unforgettable moments.
Interests
I have many interests, ranging from music and architecture to travel and hiking. I enjoy playing violin, guitar, singing, and dancing salsa and samba, as well as exploring off-the-beaten-path places. I'm curious about new cultures, languages, and art forms, and I'm always up for a new challenge

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a strong connection with Brazilian music, especially funk and bossa nova. Internationally, I enjoy listening to Travis and I'm always open to discovering new sounds. My favorite movies include The Dreamers, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and Rocky Horror Picture Show. When it comes to books, I mainly read Brazilian authors. Currently, I'm reading a book that my friend finished writing after her father, who started it, passed away during a research trip for the story.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I've done was taking a jungle survival course, which gave me a new perspective on nature and how we connect with it. Additionally, I played tambourine in a Carnival street band in São Paulo, which was an intense and culturally enriching experience that deepened my connection with music and the joy of Brazilian festivals.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach violin and share a bit about music in general. I can also share tips on hiking safely and teach salsa and samba dancing. I speak Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and I'm currently learning Mandarin, so I can also help with those
What I Can Share with Hosts
Besides good conversation and travel stories, I can share my musical skills, cook simple dishes, or help with household tasks. If you're into hiking, we can plan a walk together, and if you love music and dancing, we can play or dance together!
