name's Daniel and I'm currently studying to become a teacher at the university of Dresden.
I guess I'm a pretty laid back guy. I like talking to people, sharing a good laugh and always down for a beer or two.
I would say that I'm pretty easy to get along with and I guess I get along well with almost everybody.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet and talk to people from all over the world because there's always some new things to learn and to discover. I also like exploring cities in a not so touristy way and there is nothing better than someone local showing you the hidden spots and cool places.
And of course to keep the community alive and give something back. Because I only had really great experiences with the people here.

Interests

Well I'm interested in all kind of things, mostly sports like soccer and basketball, in winter I like to play ice hockey or go snowboarding. Also I'm really into music, I listen to all kinds of stuff from all over the world. Indian chants, Mongolian throat singing, you name it. I also play the guitar and the banjo from time to time.

A big passion of mine is skateboarding, I started at the age of 12 or something around that and I'm still into it. Unfortunately I'm not skateboarding as much as I want to, because university and work keeps me busy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Always been a fan of the rock and blues from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Nowadays I mstly listen to garage, stoner or surf rock. I love bands like Thee Oh Sees, The Growlers, The Black Lips, Ty Segall, Fuzz, Bass Drum of Death and stuff like that.
Oh, and a lot of Gangsta Rap

I always liked Guy Ritchie films, Snatch is one of my all time favorits, but I'm not that much of a movie watcher.
