About Me

Nice guy who shares an unfathomable passion for music, beer, card games, some sports, some video games and nice conversations about whatever is feasible at the moment of speaking. I have my own pessimistic vision about Civilized life and that sometimes makes my existence quite bitter, but I never allow it to hinder my relationships, be them with humans or not.

PHILOSOPHY

It's quite unlikely for you to wake up if you don't realize you're asleep.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Member of Couchsurfing to keep the nomadic spirit alive. Because we shall never be resigned to boundaries.

Interests

Heavy Metal and almost everything related to it. Also movies (French-Canadian school is superb), H.P. Lovecraft, Green Anarchy, Anarcho Primitivism, Geology, Astronomy, Religion (I'm an Atheist), learning languages (I will probably start studying German + Spanish in 2015).

Music, Movies, and Books

Death, Morbid Angel, Dream Theater, Picture, Slayer, Behemoth, Pagan's Mind, King Diamond, Sybreed, Fear Factory, Krisiun, Hour of Penance, Brodequin, Vanden Plas, Evergrey, Nevermore, Iced Earth, Fight, Saxon, the almighty unreachable untouchable BLACK SABBATH, among many others. Outside Heavy Metal I listen to some Jazz (Pat Metheny Group is amazing), Blues, Classic Rock, Classic Music (Ravel, Stravinsky) and a little bit of pop (Tears for Fears).

Movies: I'll just mention Kubrick, it's obligatory. But there are far too many others who deserve to be mentioned here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen Black Sabbath live. Every time they play "Into the Void", the metaphysic concepts of the Universe are rewritten.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach English as a private teacher in my town, mostly beginners or intermediate students and also people who want to remove the rust from their English before going abroad through conversation classes.

Countries I’ve Visited

Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In
