ABOUT ME

Student traveller; the open-minded and the weary-footed. I lived in Illinois my whole life until I went to Belgium for a semester abroad. I have a profound love of rock n' roll music, science-fiction novels, writing, tea/coffee, good beer, and of course, travel. The people I've met and the stories they share keep me roaming for more and I'd love to hear yours!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I meet up with surfers whenever possible, even when I can't stay with them or they can't stay with me. It's a wonderful community and I want to contribute as much as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've yet to be hosted by or host a CSer but I'd love to do both.

I have met Couchsurfers in Barcelona and in Illinois, and have messaged online with a few surfers when they asked for help and advice but I'm unable to meet up.

I have networked with a few others who have met friends of mine who were also traveling. I've been given tips and advice from some of the community who were unable to meet up as well, usually enlightening my experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

These are the two most applicable:
1) I would like to incorporate writing into my career somehow. If you need any help with English speaking/reading/writing, I can assist you. Otherwise, I love writing letters and will happily and hope to keep in touch.
2) I consider myself very adventurous, I will try just about anything.
