About Me

I study Psychology run a small shop in Berlin - two things that work surpisingly well together. You sell cigarettes to a russioan mercenary who fought in Armenia and one hour later you sell a newspaper to a turkish guy who fought on the other side. You sell sweets to a pimp and sell a Ramen soup to guy wearing 19th century uniforms. Life is full of strange encounters...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I dont travel a lot but when i travel i want to meet people as they are, no hostels, just normal people runing naked across a square while holding a bottle of vodka in one hand and a rubber chicken in the other hand while they declare a new kingdom. just normal people, you know?

Interests

I am in love with Eastern Europe, partly because its my home. People there have a special way of thinking, a way of living life that has a philosophical quality.

Music, Movies, and Books

Big fan of Jens Mühling, quite an unknown writer from germany most famous for his travel diary about Ukraine named "Schwarze Erde". There are many other writers i enjoy and in general i enjoy talking about literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a pioneer of climbing building cranes. I was bored and not half as brave as the russian kids that do it today. I still feel horrified fear when I think back of it.
I once travelled to poland´s countryside. There was a house in the middle of nothing, sorrounded by ravens, engulfed ba storm, on the top was something that looked like gallows, a scene distinctively hostile. I decided to enter it anyway. When i entered a ragged person with vivid eyes approached me. He said to me" Welcome to the Buddhist Center!" Life is full of surprises!
