About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Aprender como ser un Paisa

ABOUT ME

I never really wanted to be a programmer, but my career as a designer never took off. As it turns out, I quite enjoy the job, and when I get absorbed in a project I end up dreaming about it. I am currently taking some time out of adult jobs, and building some ideas of my own. If you come to stay, you will be obliged to look at what I'm building and make oooh aaahh sounds.

I am also attempting to work while I travel. This means that I need to find a quiet corner where I can sit down with my laptop and tap away for a few hours. This can be very hard to do when you are around other people who are on holiday. I am still developing the discipline :)

PHILOSOPHY

To share my special brand of love and life with the people I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have found it a very cool way to meet people, and see a way nicer side of travelling than hotels and backpackers.

I like having people come stay, but only a few, so that you are still special :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I never did couch surfing before, but my brother is a host in Montreal city. He says its great.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots of modern poppy shit. It's not cool, i know.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Growing up in the Solomon Islands. Its really hard to top that.

Acted as an Elve in 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy. I was an extra on set for all 3 films, wore all the costumes, met all the main cast. That was awesome.

A week long film festival in France where a small group of us wrote and directed a series of short films. I was an actor in a few films and directed my own film. It was an intense week, but such energy, it was fantastic.

Stole a tuk tuk in Cambodia and had a large crowd of Cambodians try to lynch me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a master of the web and emerging technologies :)
