I currently work in Film & Television, I deal with handprops -they are anything in the scene that is picked up or held by the actor. It could be a gun - a pen - a piece of glass - rubber knives - cellphones - lots of wedding food, all the things! Slowly learning more prop building as I get more experience.

Previously worked in HVAC(heating&air condition) for 4 years , I have knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and air flow, and just generally handy with tools of all kind. Loved being able to use my hands at work, just wasn't the career I was looking for.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was introduced to couch surfing through my girlfriend, who has been using it for years. Right after my first couch surfing experience I understood exactly why people will always gravitate towards this way of traveling.

I've met so many amazing people already, not only surfers - but friends of surfers - other people who were surfing at the same time, and have experienced more in a city than just hanging out in a airbnb or hotel.

Interests

I love building, which is why art department in film is currently the best career for me.

Getting a new tool and learning how to properly use it, being trusted to create and build things is where I get a lot of my satisfaction in life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fought a forest fire in the mountains of Costa Rice - I got lost in the forest during the fire and that was the first time I feared for my life. I got out safe! and was able to capture some cool photos as well.

I am able to help with general building, fixing, and modding things.

I understand plumbing, electrical, and air flow. I know how most tools work and how to appropriately use them for each job.

What I Can Share with Hosts

For myself, and I think most couch surfers, we get pleasure from meeting new people, and learning about each others travels, life experiences, and just outlook on life that can inspire you to be a better person while we are on this earth together.

I just like to hang out and take appreciate anything you have to offer me, even if its just talking on a porch while enjoying a coffee.
