About Me

I'm a Social Sciences undergraduate degree student in Brazil, but I'm currently enrolled in the University of Coimbra, Portugal, as a mobility student in the Anthropology area. I love to meet new people, specially if they are interested in social sciences, anthropology or philosophy. I also enjoy cooking and listening to music.
I'm currently focused in studying Queer Theory, anthropology of the body and the history of subjectivities.
One of my hobbies is to play Real Time Strategy games and city-building games.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't usually have "favorite things", but I can say that one of the books that made me who I am today, back when I was a teenager, was The Stranger, by Albert Camus. One my favorite songs is How Soon is Now?, by The Smiths. I don't watch a lot of movies, but I can say that the brazilian "Tatuagem" is a great movie that I always remember when someone asks me about my favorite movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I came all the way across the atlantic ocean, for the first time, all alone, to stay 6 months far away from home, and I think I'm brave for that.

Teach, Learn, Share

"We're tired of trees. We should stop believing in trees, roots, and radicles. They've made us suffer too much. All of arborescent culture is founded on them, from biology to linguistics. Nothing is beautiful or loving or political aside from underground stems and aerial root, adventitious growths and rhizomes." Deleuze, in A Thousand Plateaus: capitalism and schizophrenia.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook something for you with my [amazing] cooking skills (:P) and also I enjoy talking with people, specially if you are interested in politics and/or philosophy. I can also help with householding if it's necessary.
