About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make my inner voice really loud. Continue on this path I've taken to do jobs for the fun value, and not because I need to satisfy a career. So far it's worked beautifully.

ABOUT ME

I lived a somewhat nomadic life with my family, and now that I'm on my own I want to keep the tradition.

PHILOSOPHY
I try to always say "yes" to new things, and then worry about logistics later.

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything by Herzog and Jodorowsky but I'll watch anything. From Lord of the Rings and superhero movies to unwatchable schlock to arthouse. One of my favorite movies is Nadja by Almereyda for some reason. Big fan of Elina Lowensohn.
I listen to all types of music, whatever the mood requires. Working in a bookstore I listen to a lot of unusual stuff. At the moment I'm really into Fields of the Nephilim.
Books: Tolkien alwaysand forever, Melville, Cendrars, Catch 22, LF Celine, , TS Eliot, Bradbury, Victor Hugo, and many others...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drove from New York to Burning Man 2009, into a desert all the way out in Nevada to discover a piece of myself I never really acknowledged that I had, or had lost. Sounds cliche, but I felt so free of social barriers.

Teach, Learn, Share

Maybe when I'm older I could teach something, at the moment I can only dish out sensible advice and some good stories that may or may not have a functional moral. Mostly not. Let's have some wine, though and take it from there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some nice pastas and some very good risottos, given the right ingredients.

Countries I’ve Visited
