Overview
About Me
25 years young, practicing yogi, spontaneous, friendly, extroverted, open-minded, bored easily, life long learner, healthy foodie, aspiring to travel the world & spread peace and positivity!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have purchased a one way ticket to NZ and recently left my office 9-5 job to be daring and act upon my life dream to travel. I don't know if I want to skip around country to country or just backpack/couch surf around ocean pacific. I am not wealthy by any means but need to detach from material possessions and idealistic views of how my life "should be" in 10 years. In stead I wish to gain a deeper understanding for the world in which I live and cultivate awareness for other cultures and geographies as well as find myself through a journey that may be a bit uncomfortable at times but filled with opportunity to grow, meet new people, and make life long connections! I am open to hosting but live in a tiny studio apartment and have never done this before, but I have heard great things! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music, but my current most listened to would be alternative/indie and rap/hip hop. I am a festival lover and my favorite is Bonnaroo!!
I also love a ton of movies and can never pick just one... I guess my current favorites would be Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, and Wolf on Wall Street. I love comedies - anything Judd Apatow produced is usually good :)
Books: Hunger Games Series, Tuesday's With Morrie, A Long Way Down, Eat Pray, Love, and anything to do with yoga :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Finished my YTT 200 certification! (yoga teacher training)
Teach, Learn, Share
When you open your mind to possibility, continue to express gratitude no matter what happens in life, and keep a positive mind set, you will see that the universe has many great gifts for you and good things will naturally attract to you and appear in your life without much effort.
I have learned this time and time again, and what I am learning is, to absolutely trust the journey and know that what I put out into the universe will soon circulate back to me, both positive and negative, it just depends what I focus more time and energy on.
I would like to share my experiences and insights both through intellectual conversations, fun events and activities and nights out, and through yoga. I also really want to learn many languages, new cultural recipes to cook, and other spiritual and cultured beliefs, philosophies, experiences, and stories!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook you meals, teach yoga lessons, help you clean/tidy up, and also can tutor English (if you are working on your English), reading/language arts to children ages 5-18, and I also love animals so I can walk dogs/feed pets, etc.
I can also share my quirky, strange, spontaneous personality and probably will make you laugh :)
