ABOUT ME

I'm a born and bred Masshole, raised in the historic town of Concord, and currently living in Medford, MA. Although I have settled in the place I grew up, I am a traveler in my heart and soul--I lived in Ireland for 4 months, Israel for 10 months, and I have backpacked several times in many corners of the world.

For my day job, I am a high school Special Education teacher. I love what I do and live for my summers off!

Through all my travels, I still remain a loyal Red Sox fan, a horrible driver, and an avid skier/lover of snow...you can take the girl out of Boston, but you can't take Boston out of the girl.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted and surfed a several times, but most of all, I try to surround myself with Boston Couchsurfers as much as possible. I love being part of a diverse, international community here in my home state.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll list 3 amazing things: Hitchhiking with the Chautauqua Circus in Alaska; submitting a 6,000+ meter mountain; skydiving over the desert and ocean in Namibia.
