About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Building a startup dating app that I'm hoping will make the world a slightly better place.

ABOUT ME

Dear World,

I am a free spirit with a wandering eye and curious nature. I just want to explore, see, and do! I am itching for a new adventure! So the current plan (and why I'm on Couchsurfing) is to find some lovely folks that would be willing to put me up for 2-3 nights in anywhere cool in the USA so that I can explore my own country a little bit!

Thanks!

Danita

PHILOSOPHY

Que sera, sera. Life is an occassion, so rise to it. Any other silly cliche that you can think of but just makes sense. Be happy! Oh, and try to help those in need.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couchsurfing but I'd love to learn more. I'm not currently in a position to host anyone, but as soon as I have my own place, consider my door wide open.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any experience, just traveling. The closest, I'd say, was my experience living as an au-pair, so not similar at all...

Interests

Reading, writing a novel, traveling (duh), music, latin dance, smiling, cooking up new ideas, finishing college (online thank goodness!), and more but i cant think of anything right now

Music, Movies, and Books

Donny Hathaway, Up, Finding Nemo, Pocahontas, Emma, The Way We Were, and dun dun dun Romance Novels (I really can't help it. I'm not a moron, they just make me really happy. It's the endings. I'm a sucker for an unrealistically happy ending. Life is hard enough.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done some cool things: shark cage diving, played with a baby tiger, volunteered with orphaned animals in Namibia, see a few countries at this point... a lot more items to check off on that bucket list though.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Costa Rica, France, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Namibia, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Spain, United States
