Hello all!! My name is Danii, I am 22 and a senior at Rochester College in Michigan. Two years ago I went on a study abroad trip with my school where we were based in Austria for three months and traveled around with free time. I fell in love with Europe and travel, and knew that I was going to do everything I could to see as much of the world as possible. I have a passion for learning, living fully, taking chances, making dreams reality, and expanding my horizons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be backpacking Europe for about three months starting tomorrow with my boyfriend. We love the idea of getting to know the locals of the towns we visit and hostels really add up and we are on a tight budget.

Interests

I enjoy travel and learning, as well as meeting new people and learning from them. I love the outdoors and just about every outdoor activity, hiking, horseback riding, climbing, kayaking, etc. I also am an animal lover and am good with kids. I enjoy helping around the house and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy just about any type of music, I join in singing with songs from almost any musical. I like just about everything when it comes to movies, however I'm not good with horror, I'm a chicken through and through when it comes to that. I sadly don't have much time to read for pleasure because I'm so often reading books for school, but I enjoy thought provoking and inspirational stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked at Coloroado Mountain Ranch in Gold Hill, just north of Boulder Colorado two summers ago. I was a wrangler (horseback riding, horse and barn care), and I lived at the camp which was in the the rocky mountains, overlooking Boulder and Denver.

My philosophy is to treat others the way I would like to be treated and to never judge a book by its cover. I host the way I would want to be hosted and am appreciative and respectful to my hosts the way I would want to be appreciated and respected.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am organized and clean up thouroughly after myself. I am friendly and easygoing but I will also stay out of your way and quiet if you prefer your space.
