About Me
Erhm, hard to say, I believe my interests tell more than everything about me :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Want to explore different cultures and meet amazing people from all around the world. Would be happy to share my ideas and experience with others.
Currently I'm not available to accept any guests as I live in the dorm in a small room. I've already travelled a bit over Europe with CS and have met absolutely fantastic people. Hope, more to come!
Interests
I love watching films, listening to music and visiting music gigs. Love to travel and experience new different cultures. Being a geologist helps me to travel around the world and spend much time in nature, which I really enjoy. Also I'm a mad Arsenal Football Club supporter.

Music, Movies, and Books
"The only proof he needed for the existence of God was music."
Well, I really listen to music a lot and the variaty of bands I'm fond of is really huge, probably my last.fm profile will speak louder about it :)
http://www.lastfm.ru/user/Razzashi (be aware that my taste in music has changed from the time of my first scrobble in 2009 :))) Few names that are very important to me: Swans, The National, Bob Dylan, Foals, The Stone Roses, Kendrick Lamar, Run The Jewels, Radiohead. In 2016 went deep into the hip-hop scene so nowadays there's no specific genre I like :p
Cinematography is my another passion and some of my fav directors are: Wes Anderson (well, who doesn't like him? I mean, it's impossible not to adore his style and stories), Paul Thomas Anderson, Coen brothers, François Truffaut, Ingmar Bergman ("Persona" gives me chilles every time I watch it), Richard Linklater (his "Before..." trilogy is an example of perfect romantic films: so simple and honest), Alejandro González Iñárritu (love his first works and hats off to the "Birdman" - best movie of the 2014 by far), Woody Allen (absolutely in love with most of his movies, esp "Midnight in Paris" and "Love and Death"), Tarkovsky, Kurosawa, Terrence Malick (no one shoots the movies like he does nowadays, makes your brain work days after watching), Fellini and Antonioni, and others (surely it will take a loooong time to mention all directors and particular things I like about each of them, so I'll stop here).
I'm also fan of some TV-series, like Game of Thrones, The Wire, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Scrubs, Community, True Detective, Fargo, How I Met Your Mother, Louie, Horace & Pete, Rick & Morty
As for books, some of my favourite writers are: Albert Camus (his humaneness and ultimate love for people is inspiring), Fyodor Dostoevsky and Kurt Vonnegut (his ironical style and the ability to laugh even at really serious things makes you understand, how little our problems are and how really dumb we all are). I am also very much fond of "A Song of Ice and Fire" series by George Martin and Sapkowski's "The Witcher". Love reading and learning different poems - mostly by Russian poets, but I also know some by Shakespeare and Kipling. Will be very much eager to read them :) love it. I'm very open-minded about literature and don't restrict myself with a particular genre.
Last things I read that had a huge impression on me were Henry Miller's "Tropics" and Proust's "Swann's Way".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam in Lake Baikal, moved 12 000 km away from my hometown to study in one of the best universities in Russia. Made one of dreams of my life came true - visited Arsenal FC game against Premier League opposition at the Emirates Stadium and met and talked to one of the club's legends - Charlie George. that was absolutely amazing.
