Overview
About Me
Young and ambitious guy who always goes for new experiences, is open to new people and can fit into any company. I also started my own IT company in 2014 which is really hard but super interesting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's great to travel and meet new people. I am hungry to new experiences and excited about new people and their stories.
Interests
I practice and teach aikido for more than 8 years and I have been to Tokyo several times. I also ride a motorcycle. I read a lot (business, fiction, pop science), watch a lot of movies and series. In the past, I have been dancing for like 8 years but now I dropped it. Oh, I also try to learn musical instruments and vocal. And I am always open to something new.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many.
Of course I was raised on Russian classics like Dostoevsky and others. My childhood was full of fantasy books, but now I read them much less. However, I am a huge fan of George RR Martin and Terry Pratchett. I read Stephen King, Ayn Rand, Kafka, Milorad Pavich, Gabriel Garcia Markes, Milan Kundera, Julio Cortazar, Umberto Eco, Gregory David Roberts, John Fowles. I even started to read James Joyce but haven't finished Ulysses yet. I also read a lot of business literature. A fan of pop science as well, I have read Stephen Hawking, Brian Greene and Richard Feynman.
As for movies and music... well I once worked in a video store so I watched a lot of movies.
I am a huge fan of music so I always have something playing in the background while I work or go about my business.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I meditated under the waterfall in the mountains of Japan. Twice.
I once crashed at a bikers festival without planning to go there at all. Was quite fun actually.
And I once stole a girl from the wedding on my motorcycle ;).
And I hitchhiked more than 2000 km in Europe in December. Man, that was cold! But also a great experience :).
Teach, Learn, Share
Most successful people share their knowledge and experience and I believe it is a right thing to do.
I wouldn't call myself a teacher, more of a person who creates atmosphere so another can bloom and self-develop.
Our life is exciting and we have access to so much information, I try to learn something new whenever I can. It might be just a fact or a whole set of ideas. Of course I remember just 10% of things I skimmed but still it's a good exercise for my brain.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am very sociable but will never bother hosts and will stay quiet when needed. I am very clean and tidy, I always respect the place of people where I stay.
I can cook or help you with cooking.
Oh, and I have many stories to tell about my travels, awkward situations I had and amazing experiences in my life.
