Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd really like to know how locals live in places I visit. To go a little beyond regular tourist experience.

Interests

I play ice hockey for my university team. Study and teach physics, and kinda like it, so i guess it also can be called "interests" :) And standard things like computer gaming/movies/music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really appreciate every kind of music from rap to classics. But on my freetime I usually prefer either indie-pop (Foster the People, Imagine Dragons) or rather classical stuff like John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix...
I'm not very experienced in movies, but among ones I watched my favorites are A Beautiful Mind, The great Gatsby, The Shawshank Redemption, Inception... and many more. Those just first that came into my mind.
I'm a big fan of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. I also like things like Futurama, Simpsons, South Park and so on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once tried "aerotube". It's like a tube for aerodynamic tests, but vertical. It creates ascending air current with speed about 200km/h, that literally allows you to fly in that room. Awesome!
