Overview
About Me
Hey, I am Danil, I graduated last summer and didn't want to attend university straight away. Instead, I have already traveled through parts of Europe by train and now I am preparing a bigger journey to India.
My ambition is to get to know different cultures and meeting fascinating people all over the world.
In between, I have to work to afford traveling for longer periods. Currently, I am working as a private tutor for children in school.
After my Gap Year I will probably go to university - I just don't know what to study yet.
Apart from that, I love making music (playing piano and saxophone), reading, hiking, playing handball and be part of workshops or activities with friends. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling, meeting new people and discovering the different ways people live.
For me, traveling is all about seeking discomfort, exchanging views on living in this world and experiencing the beauty of nature - alone or with people joining me. These are memories I want to keep with me all my life.
What I like about Couchsurfing is the possibilty to get in touch with openminded people who can share their different stories and beliefs.
Right now, I am going to travel with my sister through Iceland and we wanted to try out Couchsurfing. Therefore, we are not very experienced with the website (and don't want to spend 58$ on a verified account) but are really looking forward to stay with some nice people.

It would be very nice if you could show me some local dishes or phrases as I really enjoy food and language.
