ABOUT ME

I just moved to New Orleans with my boyfriend. This is a beautiful and quirky city, but I am having severe ocean (and Mexican food) withdrawals. Currently trying to find new hobbies as the awful weather and lack of accessible coast line are sending me into a hermit like downward spiral.

I spend most of my time on, in, or near the ocean. I like the sun, and am currently trying to learn how to photosynthesize.

I have a really cool dog whose hobbies include chasing her tail, getting her butt scratched, and laying on things.

My place is a good place to stay if you are hoping to surf a as I go on early morning surfs several days a week and LOVE taking travelers. EDIT: THERE'S NO SURF IN NEW ORLEANS SO DISCARD THIS AND JOIN ME IN CRYING MYSELF TO SLEEP.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far it's been great! This entire idea of this website sort of self selects for laid back, open minded wanderers. A couple of surfers I'v hosted have since become very close friends. :)

I read a lot of Magical Realism. I listen to a lot of folk inspired music. I watch a lot of bad movies (I love the entire aesthetic of camp).

I can teach you about the local marine life, and the basics of sailing and yoga. I really would like to learn more about yoga and much, much more Spanish.
