Overview
About Me
I grew up in the Rhine Valley. Since I was a child I've been hiking and skiing the surrounding mountains. Apart from that our region is known for its delicious food and tasty wines. The surrounding vineyards were probably one of the reasons why I ended up doing an apprenticeship as a winemaker, working all over switzerland, including one year at Lake Geneva. Afterwards i worked as a skiing instructor and in autumn I will start to study Environmental Engineering.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During last winter we hosted plenty of surfers in our shared flat, thats how i did get to know about the platform. I saw how the travelers could benefit from our knowledge as locals and how we could enjoy interesting stories of their travels and experience different cultures without moving out of our country. Thats why I decided to give it a try.

Music, Movies, and Books
A bit of everything, currently i discovered my parents vinyl collection ( 70/80).
Same goes for books and movies, I just read what attracts my attention.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm into cooking, so I can make some food that is common in the Alpes. If you are interested in wine, I can tell you about the procedure of making it and give you some tips on how to degustate it properly. During winter time we can go skiing together.
