Resumen
Sobre mí
I'm a biomedical scientist in a serious relationship with the sunset, ice cream, and science. Between one lab experiment and the other, I always find some time for singing, chatting and eating, exactly in this order! hehe
I was the shiest human being on this planet when I was a child. As I grew up and faced the fear of interacting with others, I found out one of my passions: talking and meeting new people! :D
My other passions are learning new stuff, teaching, watching the sunset, traveling and listening to music!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
Most of my travels are for scientific events and with the recent deep cuts of science budget in Brazil, I started searching for alternative ways of traveling. That's when I found Couchsurfing and got super excited with how travelling could become a much deeper experience when meeting local people and actually getting to know their culture!!

Música, películas y libros
I think the playlist "Guilty Pleasure Songs" on Spotify defines a lot what I usually listen to. I'd say I listen to a lot of pop, some 60's, folk and easy-listening. However, I do like to try other genres once in a while!
In what comes to movies, just can't handle terror or intense suspense. Sorry, have no structure for that.
About books... I daily do a lot of dense reading at work, so I usually pick something lighter for spare time. Some authors I've read: J. K. Rowling, Sidney Sheldon and Dan Brown.
Algo increíble que he hecho
Volunteer teaching was definitely one of the most incredible things I have ever done! Couldn't learn more!
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I can teach some Portuguese and totally share my enthusiasm for science. Happy to learn about basically anything!
