Hi! I’m Danilo 👋
I’m the oldest brother of four, which has definitely shaped who I am today: responsible, caring, and always looking out for others.
I was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador, but I’ve always been in love with travel and meeting people from all over the world. For me, traveling is not just about places, but about stories, cultures, and human connections.

I love sports, especially football, tennis, and basketball, and I also enjoy photography, particularly capturing everyday life, cities, and authentic moments.

Thanks to a scholarship, I moved to Europe and had the chance to live in the Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain. Each country has taught me something different, and this journey has made me very open-minded and adaptable. Right now, I’m living in Madrid, continuing my European adventure.

I currently share an apartment with two roommates in Madrid. Because of this, it’s sometimes difficult for me to host, but hosting may be possible if everyone agrees and if you’re comfortable sleeping on an inflatable mattress in the living room. Transparency is important to me, so I always prefer to discuss this in advance.

I consider myself clean, organized, respectful, and easygoing. I enjoy good conversations, shared meals, and learning from others’ perspectives.

Just to be clear and transparent:
Couchsurfing is NOT a dating platform for me. I’m here to share cultures, experiences, and genuine human connections.
I’m not interested in massages, nudist events, or anything of that nature. I strongly value respect, boundaries, and the original spirit of the Couchsurfing community.
